Your day looks like this:
- Configuring and maintaining our IT infrastructure, including hardware, system software, and applications;
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system issues;
- Replacing and upgrading defective or outdated components when necessary;
- Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely;
- Researching and recommending new approaches to improve our IT infrastructure;
- Providing technical support when requested;
- Set up accounts and workstations;
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies;
- Building an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies (relying on GDrive and Confluence);
- You will use Jira, Confluence, Miro and Google Drive for organization and collaboration.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a System Administrator or similar role;
- Some experience with Network management;
- Basic knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery;
- Basic knowledge of various operating systems and platforms;
- Some experience with Windows and Linux Server Platforms;
- Excellent computer hardware knowledge;
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills;
- Excellent communication skills;
- A very good knowledge of English language.
